SALIENT FEATUERS / MATERIAL OF CONSTRUCTION CASING : Is made, of tough fibre glass reinforced epoxy resins. Additional embossing is done for extra strength in case of big cooling towers. FILES : Honeycomb type PVC files are used which are highly efficient for heat transfer with excellent resistance to corrosion and provide maximum area for wettage. SPRINKLER : Our bottle type of tower is fitted with rotating type of sprinkler. The sprinkler head is made of PVC / Aluminum alloy to avoid corrosion. It rotates at 5 to 7 RPM by the reaction force of circulating water which is discharged at low pressure out of holes of PVC / Bronze pipes. In square type cooling tower hot water is sprayed uniformly over the fills through poly-propylene nozzles fitted on M.S. Galvanised distribution pipe. The nozzles are accessible through the transparent inspection window fitted on the tower body. WATER BASIN : Is completely leak-proof which avoids spillage & seepage of water. It is o deep sump to ensure maximum water level at all times & made of F.R.P. with additional stiffeners to take care of weight of extra water. MOTOR : Special low R.P.M totally enclosed motors of vertical, flange type, with enlarged threaded shaft and sealed top is supplied with the cooling tower. The motor is totally weatherproof IP:55 construction suitable for heated and humid atmosphere.
